“I have found that Precision Planning has strived to meet my needs, as the end user of the facility, in each and every decision that has been made in planning the facility. Obviously working within my budget, Precision has allowed me to have free reign in the design phase, they have been open to all my ideas, suggestions, comments, etc. and they don’t make a design decision without consulting me first.

What more can a client such as myself reasonably expect from an architect?

Not only would I rehire Precision Planning, I would recommend them without reservation or hesitation on ANY project. As far as a jail construction project is concerned, I would recommend them to the exclusion of all others.”

Precision Planning, Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of the Oconee County Jail and Sheriff’s Office/E911/EOC facility in March 2007. The new 36,343 SF Jail and 5,978 SF E911/EOC were completed in phases on the site of the old jail building, so that the Sheriff’s operations were continuous throughout construction.

The jail includes 140 inmate beds, with a state of the art housing control tower which minimizes staffing while providing optimum lines of sight and security for detention officers. The design includes complete jail support services and space for Sheriff’s administration with future expansion built in. The E911/EOC building, within the same secure perimeter as the jail, incorporates up to 10 call stations, an emergency operations center for 30 persons when activated, a full kitchen, locker rooms and a secure computer center.
