Lawrenceville Police Headquarters
Gwinnett County, Georgia

The Lawrenceville Police Department has been working toward a new headquarters for 10 years and on May 28, 2010 the City of Lawrenceville dedicated the new facility. Chief Randy Johnson and his dedicated staff will enjoy a new state-of-the-art facility that includes a Police Administration Suite, Training Room for multi-function police and public training, Motorcycle Patrol vehicle storage, Dispatch and Call Taker, K-9 dog runs, Exercise Room and Evidence Processing and Storage with high density filing systems. The facility has 48,000 square feet of finished space and 24,000 square feet of unfinished expansion space for the future.

The building exterior was designed to have materials that are durable and that respect the heritage of the Lawrenceville downtown district. With brick and cast stone elements, the facility is articulated to a proper scale and stature for a law enforcement center.

The result of thousands of hours of Client and Design Team efforts is a successful, functional headquarters for one of the best police departments in Georgia.
